Refunds and Exchanges All sales are final. There are no cancellations or refunds. Patrons may exchange their tickets during business hours up to 48 hours before their scheduled performance. Please see exchange section below for exchange policies. Tickets are paid in full at the time of purchase. No unpaid seats are held. CSF reserves the right to not sell tickets to any individual and/or group or to limit the number of tickets that can be purchased. CSF reserves the right to deny, cancel and/or refund tickets or paid/non-paid standing room for any reason.
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival does not offer refunds when a performance has taken place. When a performance is canceled due to inclement weather or other reasons, alternatives will be assessed at that time regarding possible exchanges or refunds. Please see the weather related cancellation policies below.
Ticket Exchange Policy Exchanges for another performance of the SAME play in the SAME section, based on availability, are permitted until the end of the business day 48 hours prior to the time of the performance. The tickets must be physically present in the box office in order to process an exchange. CSF does not make refunds on any purchases or accept tickets for resale.
When exchanging into a higher priced performance or seat(s), the difference in ticket price must be paid before the exchange can be completed. No refunds are given for exchanges into lower priced performances or seats.
Ticket exchanges are subject to seat availability. Promotional discounts may not apply to exchanged tickets.
Winter Inclement Weather Policy In the event of inclement winter weather, the safety of our patrons is our greatest concern. CSF will follow the campus closing procedures administered by the University of Colorado at Boulder. In the event that the campus closes due to poor weather conditions, CSF will post a message on the homepage of our website and on our telephone line with instructions to patrons as to how exchanges will be handled.
Summer Rain and Cancellation Policy Summer rains are common in Colorado and usually pass within 20 to 30 minutes. Performances will proceed in the rain, unless weather conditions become threatening to performers or the audience. For safety reasons, open umbrellas are not permitted during performances–bring a rain cover instead. Please do not call the CSF Box Office for rain decisions the day of the performance as decisions to delay or cancel are not made prior to showtime.
Should a performance be canceled before 10 pm (8:30 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays) due to weather, your ticket stub can be exchanged for a ticket to the make-up performance. If there is no make-up performance, present your ticket stub at the CSF Box Office for a ticket to another performance of the same play. If a show is canceled after 10 pm (8:30 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays), it is the policy of CSF not to give exchanges, rain checks, or refunds.
Standby Seating Should no tickets be available for exchange, or if you miss your scheduled performance, you may use your tickets for any performance of the same play for standby seating. Although there is NO GUARANTEE that you will be seated, the box office will do their best to accommodate you. Please bring your unused ticket to the box office 1 hour before the performance that you would like to attend.
On-stage Seating Not available for the 2011 Summer SeasonOn-stage seating offers an up-close view of the performance, with the action of the show taking place right in front of you. Please note that some aspects of the action may be obstructed. You must arrive at the theatre early enough to be seated before the performance begins or you will forfeit your on-stage seat. There is NO LATE SEATING for on-stage ticket holders. If you arrive late, you will only be seated at the discretion of management, if there are available seats. All personal items must be placed in the small (18 x 18 x 18) designated space beneath your seat prior to the start of the performance in order to keep the on-stage seating area and pathways clear. Because you are on-stage with the performers, electronic equipment, cell-phones, cameras, pagers, or PDAs must be turned off and put away out of view while you are seated. Patrons must be at least 14 years old.
Donated Tickets If a patron cannot attend a performance, the tickets may be donated back to the Theatre for tax credit purposes. Tickets must be received in the box office a minnimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled curtain time. Tickets cannot be donated back to CSF after a performance has occurred. To donate your tickets, contact Pam Johnson, CSF Box Office Manager at 303-492-3168.
Children Children under the age of 5 are not allowed in the theatre, including babes in arms.
Latecomers Latecomers are seated at the discretion of house management at the first appropriate seating break that allows for the least disruption of the performance for the actors and the seated audience. |
