Geoffrey Kent

Geoffrey Kent has directed and staged fights for CSF for fourteen years. Directing credits include "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" and "The Tempest." Selected fight credits include "The Three Musketeers," "Romeo and Juliet," "Macbeth," "Treasure Island" and "Henry IV, Part One." Other Directing: "She Kills Monsters" and "Metamorphoses" for the Aurora Fox; "39 Steps," "Born Yesterday" and "The Grapes of Wrath" for Theatreworks CS; and "Cowboy Macbeth" for Listen Productions. Fight Direction: Denver Center for the Performing Arts (15 years): "Richard III," "Hamlet," "King Lear," "1001" and "The Pillowman." Curious Theatre Company: "Bug" and "The Lieutenant of Inishmore." Aspen/Sante Fe Ballet: "Romeo and Juliet." Opera Colorado: "Porgy and Bess," "Sweeney Todd" and "Carmen." Orlando Shakespeare Theater: "Romeo and Juliet" and "Titus Andonicus." Baltimore Center Stage: "Marley." Geoffrey is the former President of the Society of American Fight Directors, former faculty at the National Theatre Conservatory and an instructor for the University of Denver.
