Heidi Schmidt is a director, dramaturg and teacher. Her dramaturgy credits include work with the Denver Center Theatre Company ("Tribes"), LOCAL Theater Company ("Faith"), Colorado Shakespeare Festival ("The Merry Wives Of Windsor," "Macbeth," "Richard III," "The Inspector General" and school touring productions of "The Taming Of The Shrew" and "Twelfth Night"). She has directed plays at Dirtyfish Theater ("Wedding Cake Vodka"), CU-Boulder ("Picnic" and "Melancholy Play") and readings for Curious New Voices, Athena Project and Paragon Theatre Ensemble. She has taught at CU-Boulder and for the CSF Education Program ("King Lear" and "As You Like It"). Heidi is an Associate Artist with LOCAL Theater and recently completed her PhD at CU-Boulder.
