Hamlet

by William Shakespeare
Directed by Philip C. Sneed

Perhaps the most psychologically complex and intensely debated play in literature, the deliberations of the doomed prince of compelled to avenge his father’s murder contains some of the most beautiful poetry ever written. Hamlet has captivated audiences for 400 years with its explorations of life, love, duty and vengeance. The kingdom is in transition and Hamlet, commanded by his murdered father’s ghost to seek revenge, struggles with the human and spiritual costs of pursuing justice. CSF’s own Producing Artistic Director Philip Charles Sneed directs with Stephen Weitz in the title role.
